A collision led to Nada Pontual F.C getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Leandro Varela hit a great ball. If Finlay Stair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Finlay Stair notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nada Pontual F.C's Leonardo Marques. Leonardo Marques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, Nada Pontual F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Leron Sale came free, but Leonardo Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Célio Sena sent off a good shot on target. When Miguel Falcão fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nada Pontual F.C's protests and gave Miguel Falcão a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Miguel Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Finlay Stair got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Raúl Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Senna in the 35th minute of play. Geroy Ascue lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Jamaica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nada Pontual F.C:s goal. Nada Pontual F.C's Mathias Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jarell Hill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jamaica were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Nada Pontual F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Finlay Stair took the corner. After 81st play minutes Raúl Bezerra shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Demonde Jacobson and just under the crossbar into goal. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl do Valle in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Raúl do Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Falcão came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Nada Pontual F.C booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romon Oliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nada Pontual F.C fully deserved thier win.
