Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abram Sarmiento took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thierry Henry in the 6th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Thierry Henry fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Thierry Henry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabio Huezo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute of the match Axel Montenegro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nery Pumpido skillfully saved the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Colombia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Angel Alvarenga walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Luis Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Thierry Henry might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thierry Henry ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Antonio Indiano hit a great ball. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Alvarenga in the 41st minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Thierry Henry sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Angel Alvarenga was slow to take the kick. During this time GuateFortín's players had a chance to rest. GuateFortín's Angel Alvarenga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. GuateFortín's Roberto Trotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luis Cazalla in the 47 minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Máximo Perrone during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 55 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Henry came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Joshua Garrido in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by GuateFortín's Mario Gomez. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Henry in the 60th minute of play. GuateFortín made a substitution. William Villanueva replaced Zico Zellier. Danilo Ocampo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Colombia's Kevin Mastache got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Villanueva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Joshua Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. Thierry Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thierry Henry in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Mario Gomez hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Thierry Henry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 93rd minute Thierry Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Gomez kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Colombia were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
