Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Trey Echols came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 6th minute. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Julian Murillo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Guilherme Veiga quite easily take care of the ball. In the 13th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guilherme Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guilherme Veiga saved Racing Miami Futbol Club from getting behind. Guilherme Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guilherme Veiga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Guilherme Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Trey Echols tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guilherme Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodney Hagen got free with Rolando Noboa in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trey Echols could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Rodney Hagen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rolando Noboa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Guilherme Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodney Hagen was the one to do the kick off. Sol Bartlett kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julian Murillos short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Guilherme Veiga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rodrigo Bearden charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Bearden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodrigo Bearden hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Bearden. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Guilherme Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Luz Tejedor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guilherme Veiga. That made the score 1-1 in the 67 minute of play. Guilherme Veiga was a little too slow when Eliseo Mina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-2. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Racing Miami Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Guilherme Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilherme Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Racing Miami Futbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Rafael Gallo scored to the left of an out of position Guilherme Veiga, making the score, 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chance Adams in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chance Adams in the 96th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
