Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Toninho Pinheiro. DENVER™'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guilherme Abud got free with Dante Lacasa in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Guilherme Abud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 31st minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Abud in the 32nd minute of play. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toninho Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guilherme Abud to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in DENVER™'s zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Pinheiro came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caio de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goalkeeper Toninho Pinheiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Toninho Pinheiro however easily saved by the left post. Toninho Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Toninho Pinheiro made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Lautaro Mancebo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toninho Pinheiro was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 94th match minute, DENVER™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Guedes to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DENVER™.
