Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Comunicaciones's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Tasis was slow to take the kick. During this time Costa Rica's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Costa Rica's corner Axel Tasis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Laureano Belasko quite easily take care of the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Hanot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Franco Di Santo sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Di Santo came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. 20 minutes into the game, Racing Comunicaciones's Rodolfo Hanot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Racing Comunicaciones's Laureano Belasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Puig in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Txindoki came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Di Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Atilano Blanco scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 2-0. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Atilano Blanco tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Hanot in the 38th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Hanot to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Hanot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Hanot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 56 minutes into the game, Aaron Alcocer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Comunicaciones the free kick. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Radomil Hodyl sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. In the 69th minute, Atilano Blanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Atilano Blanco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute, Rodolfo Hanot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Hanot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo Hanot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Racing Comunicaciones's Atilano Blanco got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Juan Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Juan Rubio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Hodyl in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Blanco came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Hanot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Racing Comunicaciones fully deserved thier win.
