Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 2nd minute of play forced PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper John Osomo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Örjan Björkdahl who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Marcos Cotilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 8 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Björkdahl came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Osomo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Osomo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 12th minute of the match. Örjan Björkdahl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Örjan Björkdahl in the 17th minute. Ademar Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edgard Dubardo in the 28th minute. Edgard Dubardo made a great header on PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's corner, it was just that Panama's Marcos Cotilla managed to reach the ball for a save. John Osomo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 29th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Rodrigues in the 34th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Örjan Björkdahl went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's John Osomo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Örjan Björkdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Örjan Björkdahl's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örjan Björkdahl in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Örjan Björkdahl made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Örjan Björkdahl. But to his dismay, Örjan Björkdahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 67 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Björkdahl came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örjan Björkdahl in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ made a substitution. Alexandre Falcão replaced Ture Rosendahl. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edgard Dubardo in the 71st minute. After 75 minutes of play, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Örjan Björkdahl made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, Örjan Björkdahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Örjan Björkdahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Örjan Björkdahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 90 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Garrido. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Örjan Björkdahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Örjan Björkdahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
