Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Neto having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, Gremengo FCCMZ's Perttu Bado made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edinho Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Gremengo FCCMZ defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edinho Neto. The Gremengo FCCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edinho Neto should have stopped the shot. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elco Das in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nico Zonta fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gremengo FCCMZ's protests and gave Nico Zonta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Nico Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico played a much better game than Gremengo FCCMZ and deserved their victory. The Gremengo FCCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
