After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Zachariasz Dunajski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Zachariasz Dunajski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Zachariasz Dunajski came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when David Liberato tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Zachariasz Dunajski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Espinar hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Henrique Durães. LaZuli's Zachariasz Dunajski got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LaZuli's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Galvão came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zachariasz Dunajski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Liberato in the 22nd minute. Jorge Infante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Espinar, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute, Zachariasz Dunajski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zachariasz Dunajski came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the LaZuli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zachariasz Dunajski couldn't finish the play. Jorge Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, LaZuli's Zachariasz Dunajski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Honduras! When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, LaZuli's Henrique Durães got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes in the game Henrique Durães did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Éder Almeida. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. LaZuli's Jorge Infante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save LaZuli from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, LaZuli's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Jorge Infante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. LaZuli's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Christian Sancho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LaZuli's Jorge Infante did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joan Queralt in the 72nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Henrique Durães in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. In the 76th minute, Valentín Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Joan Queralt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to LaZuli getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Éder Almeida hit a great ball. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jorge Infante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. When the referee blew the final whistle, LaZuli could leave the field as winners, despite Honduras having more of the ball for most of the match.
