Romeo Zeigler hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Guilherme Veiga made a huge save.
