An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Caviedes in the 12th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nibiru X were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after El Salvador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ysmael Guichard took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ysmael Guichard got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ricardo Zorita quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18thth minute of the game Fabio Caviedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Caviedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Román Grebe succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 25th playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Román Grebe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 4-0 in the 28 minute of play. Fabio Caviedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Caviedes went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Fabio Caviedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nibiru X's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Caviedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco Tamayo charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Tamayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Armando Faine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabio Caviedess short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Ricardo Zorita to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 45th minute Diego Armando Faine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Marco Tamayo. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Fernandino to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Diego Armando Faine made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Fabio Caviedes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Nibiru X's Jose Rojas was substituted for Fabio Caviedes. Nibiru X made a substitution. Isidro De Gavardo replaced Diego Armando Faine. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Isidro De Gavardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nibiru X's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro De Gavardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Renato Kilpatrick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Renato Kilpatrick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidro De Gavardo took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Ignacio Cancino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidro De Gavardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidro De Gavardo ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro De Gavardo came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes, Luis Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Nibiru X players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isidro De Gavardo took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. In the 82nd minute, Isidro De Gavardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. In the 85th minute Isidro De Gavardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isidro De Gavardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Román Grebe notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nibiru X had played much better football throughout.
