Fabio Monte got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 6th match minute before Jacobo Nores had time to react. 9 minutes into the match, Conrado Frans notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Fabio Monte tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 16 minutes, Fabio Monte made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Northern California getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fabio Monte hit a great ball. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Fabio Monte sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 25 minutes, Fabio Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Northern California's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Monte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabio Monte succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. Fabio Monte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Frans got free with Jacobo Nores in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. At last the ball reached Fabio Monte at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Paraguay. 5-0. Fabio Monte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute, Fabio Monte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.
Juan Diego Tenorio kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Escribano to maneuver through the defense. Hector Martxel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 57th minute, Fabio Monte made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Monte in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Fabio Monte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Northern California's Dante Taurino got a free kick in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Frans in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Santos Mino was a little too slow when Hector Covarrubias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 7-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Campos during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Campos to maneuver through the defense. Santos Mino was a little too slow when Jaime Pardo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 7-2. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Monte in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Gervasio Isias notched a goal, 8-2, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute, Fabio Monte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute Conrado Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Northern California booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes Northern California got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Isias. Conrado Frans scored 9-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Northern California had won after a very even match.
