Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Patric Isaksson however easily saved by the left post. Patric Isaksson was a little too slow when Lautaro Mancebo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-2. Barrenta SC's Urban Stenman was substituted for Fellipe Lago. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Stenman in the 89th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Barrenta SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Patric Isaksson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
