Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gilmar da Rocha hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Tastzian in the 6th minute. After 7 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patric Isaksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Barrenta SC's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patric Isaksson came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barrenta SC's Patric Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patric Isaksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patric Isaksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Patric Isaksson came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Patric Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of play. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 45th minute. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustín Tastzian's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Dante Lacasa stood somewhat misplaced when Agustín Tastzian came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 47 minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The wind increased when Agustín Tastzian made the kick off in the second half. Barrenta SC's Patric Isaksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Barrenta SC from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patric Isaksson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patric Isaksson firmly grabbed it by the left post. 61 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Lago came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 68th minute. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 70th minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patric Isaksson made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barrenta SC's Urban Stenman was substituted for Fellipe Lago.
