Through an outstanding action, after 2 minutes, Arne Grabner successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 4th minute ΠΑΟΚ FC were awarded a corner. Petros Mirtsos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Petros Mirtsos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Falconara Albanese's Arne Grabner did a great save. The supporters of Falconara Albanese booed when ΠΑΟΚ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Tauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Grabner made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Santiago Silva sent off a good shot on target. Arne Grabner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Del Monte, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Arne Grabner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Silva in the 40th minute of the match. Petros Mirtsos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arne Grabner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match, Edmondo Del Monte tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arne Grabner saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in ΠΑΟΚ FC's zone, Wawrzyniec Knopek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingvar Nykvist came out of the goal and Wawrzyniec Knopek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
The wind increased when Dráuzio Pontes made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Falconara Albanese's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Silva came free, but Arne Grabner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute of the match Falconara Albanese got a corner. ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Esteve Garin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Falconara Albanese's Lucas Martínez Quarta to fire away a dangerous shot which Ingvar Nykvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ingvar Nykvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dráuzio Pontes in the 62nd minute. Falconara Albanese made a substitution. Martin Goren replaced Dráuzio Pontes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Silva in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne Grabner saved Falconara Albanese from getting behind. In the 81st minute ΠΑΟΚ FC were awarded a corner. Petros Mirtsos went to the cornerflag to take it. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Falconara Albanese! Arne Grabner had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Santiago Silva's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Falconara Albanese's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Silva came free, but Arne Grabner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingvar Nykvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaarlo Menem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Firman came free, but Ingvar Nykvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falconara Albanese were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after ΠΑΟΚ FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arsenio Eufrasio took the corner. Honorio Firman was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.
