Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Afiz Ching took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Tedj Sellal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Mahieddine Zitouni hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Afiz Ching. Bolivar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afiz Ching. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Bolivar's Afiz Ching played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afiz Ching saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Bolivar's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Afiz Ching reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Senijad Ibričić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolivar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brett Cordrey in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tedj Sellal during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abdelmalek Belhadj was slow to take the kick. During this time Bolivar's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Abdelmalek Belhadj got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 46 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. With 47 minutes on the clock, Primitivo Andino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Julio Vera had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Abdelmalek Belhadj's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Senijad Ibričić to strike the kick off in the second half. Afiz Ching showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to Bolivar getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Senijad Ibričić hit a great ball. Jordão Sesimbra hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Afiz Ching but with some difficulty. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Afiz Ching threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Sancho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordão Sesimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteban Calderero during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Bolivar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Calderero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tedj Sellal in the 87th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Bolivar's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Afiz Ching reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Daniel Zorita from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Afiz Ching's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Afiz Ching. That made the score 1-1 in the 94 minute of play. Bolivar succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
