Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Clemencin got free with Julio Vera in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelino Clemencin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Angelino Clemencin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the game, Paulo Pierres recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Paulo Pierres showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Marcial Orlandus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Pierres in the 10th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute of the match, Paulo Pierres tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Erubiel Laurgain hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Pierres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Orlandus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Pierres in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Angelino Clemencin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ricardo Hug was slow to take the kick. During this time Guanacos's players had a chance to rest. Ricardo Hug made a great header on Guanacos's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. A hard shot 40 in the game by Paulo Pierres from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Guanacos's Ricardo Hug broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Paulo Pierres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Pierres, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Pierres in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Clemencin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guanacos made a substitution. Denis Pello replaced Danilo Sanchez. After 74 minutes Guanacos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcial Orlandus despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Vinicio Esdras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guanacos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Angelino Clemencin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 91st minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Martxelin in the 92nd minute of the match. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Guanacos's Eustaquio Martxelin. But to his dismay, Eustaquio Martxelin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 95th minute Remigio Ler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
