Paul Ramon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 朱傲义 in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute China were awarded a corner. 鲁朋旭 went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Cassaretto in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 魏亮宇 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 魏亮宇 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when 朱傲义 came free, but Paul Ramon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes China got a freekick which was hit by Feng Lei Tian. China's 魏亮宇 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Peru made a substitution. Xuaco Oñaederra replaced Enrique Cassaretto. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 朱傲义 to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Xu Yong Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 魏亮宇 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xuaco Oñaederra in the 54th minute of the match. Paul Ramon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 朱傲义's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Xu Yong Feng made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Constantino Dean. China made a substitution. Cadman 赵云 replaced 朱傲义. 63 minutes into the game, Humberto Requena threw the ball into play from the sideline. China's 柯正轩 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 72 minutes into the match, Peru's Xuaco Oñaederra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 魏亮宇 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's Paul Ramon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Xuaco Oñaederra made a precise shot to the right of 魏亮宇. China's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cadman 赵云 got free with Paul Ramon in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paul Ramon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cadman 赵云 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 92 minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Xu Yong Feng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. China's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. Xuaco Oñaederra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the China players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peru.
