Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles de Brito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Carballar to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Casaus scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charles de Brito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maurinho Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Capixaba's Cauan Botelho. But to his dismay, Cauan Botelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles de Brito. Atlético Capixaba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Charles de Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marian Witkowski's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marian Witkowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Marian Witkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Atlético Capixaba's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Charles de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Capixaba's Charles de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 28th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Otto Fesik put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Thiago Pliego. 44 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurinho Penha.

51 minutes into the match, Otto Fesik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Atlético Capixaba's Charles de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 56th minute of play. Charles de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 58th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles de Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atlético Capixaba made a substitution. Fu Jun Feng replaced Marian Witkowski. Atlético Capixaba's Felippe Fonseca was substituted for Otto Fesik. A collision led to Atlético Capixaba getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Vítor-Borba Xerifão hit a great ball. In the 71st match minute, Atlético Capixaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor-Borba Xerifão to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Fonseca in the 76th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Charles de Brito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Atlético Capixaba's Felippe Fonseca in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Mariano Lacasa took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Charles de Brito to make any attempt to save it. After 87 minutes, Fu Jun Feng mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Capixaba and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Atlético Capixaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fu Jun Feng to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Fontirroig struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Charles de Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Atlético Capixaba:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chile:s goal. Charles de Brito was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Mariano Lacasa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mariano Lacasa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-5.
