Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Marco Day came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Tio Lio. But to his dismay, Tio Lio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tio Lio, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Tio Lio came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Pacheco in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Tony Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jenson Smith took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremy Nicholas. Jeremy Nicholas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Pacheco in the 25th minute of the match. Tio Lio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Nordmark got free with Marco Day in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute of the match New England Minas got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Glen Conklin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led New England Minas's Glen Conklin to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in New England Minas's zone, Edward Mcdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal and Edward Mcdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 52nd minute of the match. Jeremy Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Mcdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Nordmark in the 60th minute of play. In the 66th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cassius Byrne in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremy Nicholas saved New England Minas from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Oscar Nordmark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Oscar Nordmark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sam Campbell in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremy Nicholas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oscar Nordmark might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Nordmark ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Nordmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Sam Campbell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Jeremy Nicholas made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 83rd minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alperen Öksüz, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Roman Major kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. In the 92nd match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Major to maneuver through the defense. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save New England Minas from getting a goal against them. USA were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after New England Minas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jenson Smith took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Khalid Parry to score against Jeremy Nicholas in New England Minas's goal. 1-2 after 94 minutes. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. USA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
