Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 3rd minute Tio Lio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Lalo Rosas. Luz Tejedor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jeremy Nicholas. New England Minas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Tio Lio managed to get in a good position for a shot. New England Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Tio Lio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 9th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Tio Lio sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Moises Gayoso in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by New England Minas's Jörgen Frohm. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Milagros Fraga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremy Nicholas having to make a save. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of play. Ye Gang Cheng made in the 31st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Glen Conklin however managed to control. When Tony Pacheco, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 38 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rolando Noboa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Rolando Noboa was a little too slow when Tio Lio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 45th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tio Lio made a kick off. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Jeremy Nicholas made a huge save. Jeremy Nicholas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 54th minute. New England Minas's Xiao Bang Kun was substituted for Jörgen Frohm. New England Minas made a substitution. Alperen Öksüz replaced Tio Lio. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Eliseo Mina hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in New England Minas's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremy Nicholas saved New England Minas from getting behind. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Luz Tejedor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jeremy Nicholas. That made the score 1-1 in the 65 minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Pacheco came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ye Gang Cheng in the 82 minute of the game. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tony Pacheco went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Xiao Bang Kun hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Rafael Gallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. New England Minas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peru for a fine match.
