After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Norberto Liberato got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Amador Venceslao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Marco Day successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Monty Rogers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The corner ended in Gustavo Tartalo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for USA! In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Norberto Liberato hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 38th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Wennerqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Mcdonald went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Amador Venceslao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Adrián Espadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Soroca F.C. defense, Cassius Byrne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Wennerqvist. The Soroca F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Wennerqvist should have stopped the shot. The Soroca F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. USA were winning 1-2.

Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Dan Wennerqvist made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Dan Wennerqvist in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Godofredo Quilino replaced Amador Venceslao. In the 57th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Cassius Byrne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dan Wennerqvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Jacob May's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Wennerqvist was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Dan Wennerqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zach Harrison in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, USA's Cassius Byrne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dan Wennerqvist. Dan Wennerqvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Soroca F.C. from getting a goal against them. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Soroca F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Hernan Lano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Lano in the 66th minute of the match. When Khalid Parry came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Khalid Parry couldn't finish the play. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula. But to his dismay, Răzvan Necula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. USA played a much better game than Soroca F.C. and deserved their victory. The Soroca F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
