Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victorino Peake started the match with the kick off. Victorino Peake could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. When FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Baumar Ontanilla in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Peake couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Astudillo came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hernán Diaz who took care of the corner kick. Vitaliy Fedchenko was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 11 minutes into the match Victorino Peake climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Gisbert in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serbülent Baysan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 20 played minutes FC Anderlecht Huachipato got a freekick which was hit by Vitaliy Fedchenko. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Astudillo in the 22nd minute of the match. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Peake in the 23rd minute of play. Serbülent Baysan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximiliano Escribano went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Lucero Liendo made in the 29th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vitaliy Fedchenko immediately put the ball in play. When Baumar Ontanilla fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Anderlecht Huachipato's protests and gave Baumar Ontanilla a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Uruguay booed when FC Anderlecht Huachipato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baumar Ontanilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorino Peakes short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Peake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 47th minute of play forced FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goalkeeper Serbülent Baysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Anderlecht Huachipato getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Julio Cachero hit a great ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Victorino Peake who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the game, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Victorino Peake nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lucero Liendo, made in the 59th minute of the game. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Eufemio Ehijo was substituted for Vitaliy Fedchenko. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Serbülent Baysan in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serbülent Baysan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 69th minute. Hernán Diaz hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Julio Cachero got a free kick in the 79th minute. A hard shot 80 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Serbülent Baysan managed to make a qualified save. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's players were relieved. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serbülent Baysan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eufemio Ehijo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
