Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Celedonio Dominguez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gösta Söderberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. 12 minutes into the game, Gösta Söderberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Gösta Söderberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Holger Vester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Francesco Totti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francesco Totti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 37th minute, Silas Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. 43 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Bremming came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francesco Totti's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The supporters of Hammarby IF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celedonio Dominguez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Totti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Francesco Totti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hammarby IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Francesco Totti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Celedonio Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 65 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Dominguez came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Totti in the 66th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas scored 3-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Holger Vester, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Blanco Mera took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 80 minutes in the game Blanco Mera did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Silas Duarte. Blanco Mera hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hammarby IF fully deserved thier win.
