Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Richard Linhares kicked off to start the match. When Alan Machado came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Magnifico FC - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Machado couldn't finish the play. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Nestor Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Luque in the 5th minute of play. When Abram Luque fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Abram Luque a yellow card for diving instead. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. Richard Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. El Salvador's Abram Luque quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Chicão Novaes, made in the 38th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the game, Dorian Marquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. After 40 played minutes Magnifico FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Marquez. In the 43rd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Yepes to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Zorita was a little too slow when Richard Linhares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Chicão Novaes made in the 63rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Matheus Quirino. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Linhares in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Alan Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abram Luque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Nestor Paraibano made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Senna in the 74th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes, Richard Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magnifico FC - FSCMZ and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Linhares in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Alan Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Curbelo. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Richard Linhares put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Zorita.
