With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vassilis Vonortas in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremy Avellana saved Club Dep. Soc. Rodo from getting behind. Lastra Pinga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Trasloseros, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Gasteiz Latorre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gasteiz Latorre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lastra Pinga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Cao Kuan Wei was substituted for Marco Aguirre. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anthon Öberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Deunoro Barbadillo got a free kick in the 56th minute. Lastra Pinga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthon Öberg in the 58th minute. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Edmund Glogowski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Deunoro Barbadillo in the 87 minute of the game. Anthon Öbergs short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Lastra Pinga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jeremy Avellana came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Vassilis Vonortas. But to his dismay, Vassilis Vonortas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
