The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Aldo Felipo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. After 12 minutes, Luca Espinar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Lengua de Lobo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 13 minutes, Aldo Felipo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lengua de Lobo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Felipo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th play minute Aldo Felipo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lautaro Navarro. 3-1. 35 minutes into the match, Tristan Baldwin notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Aldo Felipo sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 46 in the game by Aldo Felipo from a close distance when the talented Lautaro Navarro managed to make a qualified save. Honduras's players were relieved. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Honduras's attentive Valentín Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Robin Lebleu made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. When Valentín Carvallo fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Valentín Carvallo a yellow card for diving instead. Patryk Dubilas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Emanuel Ocampo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Lengua de Lobo's Tristan Baldwin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lengua de Lobo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
