Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benjamin da Fonseca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 16 minute of play. Pesqueira City's Mădălin Lunca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pesqueira City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Tasis was slow to take the kick. During this time Costa Rica's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Costa Rica's corner Axel Tasis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mădălin Lunca quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Sebastião Quintal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 27th minute of the match. Ionuț Iniesta might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ionuț Iniesta ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Benjamin da Fonseca took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. 41 minutes into the match, Benjamin da Fonseca notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute, Benjamin da Fonseca fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Benjamin da Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. The supporters of Pesqueira City booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Sebastião Quintal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Benjamin da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Benjamin da Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Cristiano Bezerra made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Benjamin da Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pesqueira City had played much better football throughout.
