Sabin Corcoveanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Barrett came out and tried to block the shot, but Sabin Corcoveanu slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 14th minute. In the 23rd minute of the match, David Giubelean tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bruno Barrett saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Giubelean, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Mergea in the 30th minute of the match. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabin Corcoveanu in the 33rd minute. Club Vertigo's supporters rose to their feet, but Dumitru Mavrogheni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute David Giubelean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Negru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, David Giubelean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Giubelean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 58 minutes into the game, Club Vertigo's Dumitru Mavrogheni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Giubelean in the 62nd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Giubelean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Corcoveanu came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Giubelean in the 68th minute of the match. If David Giubelean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Giubelean in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Dumitru Mavrogheni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Dumitru Mavrogheni took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Vertigo had played much better football throughout.
