Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pacorro Aguilar in the 7th minute. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Pacorro Aguilar scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 2-0. 17 minutes into the match, Pacorro Aguilar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pacorro Aguilar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st play minute Pacorro Aguilar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 5-0. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Pacorro Aguilar sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Costa Rica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦:s goal. Pacorro Aguilar placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Alexander Carballo with Eliseo Noboa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 48th minute, Pacorro Aguilar made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0.

The wind increased when Pacorro Aguilar made the kick off in the second half. Pacorro Aguilar struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦. Alan Moruga's late challenge caught a ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Santos Sanz was substituted for Refugio Colsa. Pero Falla scored 9-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Pero Falla got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pero Falla in the 70th minute of the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Pero Falla. But to his dismay, Pero Falla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Pero Falla scored 11-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pero Falla in the 75th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pero Falla in the 77th minute of play. Efrain Moruga made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eliseo Noboa immediately put the ball in play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Costa Rica's goalie and right to Jedrzej Kloczko. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Costa Rica's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pero Falla in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 13-0 when Pero Falla sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fully deserved thier win.
