A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Osvald Uter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA VIOLA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvald Uter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens-Ove Abrahamsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Bäckman to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Martinsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Martinsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Felix Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Rutledge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Martinsson having to make a save. Felix Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Svante Bäckman hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Felix Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 41st minute of play. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Venezuela were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Rutledge to strike the kick off in the second half. Gottfrid Brenner struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA VIOLA. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Uter in the 52nd minute of play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 60th minute. Albert Rutledge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. After 62nd play minutes Tomas Illescas shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Felix Martinsson and just under the crossbar into goal. Gottfrid Brenner kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by LA VIOLA's Osvald Uter. But to his dismay, Osvald Uter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. With a little luck, LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA VIOLA the free kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. After 84 minutes of play, LA VIOLA's Osvald Uter made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patricio Costa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felix Martinsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Patricio Costa slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 87th minute. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Felix Martinsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Venezuela had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
