Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Du Song Lin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Du Song Lin made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ange Di Maria during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 minutes of play, Chile's Orlando Casaus made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Vítor Arósio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Du Song Lin went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Milan da Freguesia F.C. defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Vítor Arósio. The Milan da Freguesia F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Vítor Arósio should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Chicão Meirelles got a free kick in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the Milan da Freguesia F.C. defense, Orlando Casaus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Vítor Arósio. The Milan da Freguesia F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Vítor Arósio should have stopped the shot. After 86 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Vítor Arósio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of João Vítor Arósio. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-6.
