Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Concetto Trasatti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Concetto Trasatti slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Trasatti in the 12th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 19th minute of play. Concetto Trasatti struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de América. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Traian Blăniță tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Concetto Trasatti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Concetto Trasatti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 43 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Concetto Trasatti. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Joel Cordarrel took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Traian Blăniță hit a great ball. Estudiantes de América's Flavio Iraunkor was substituted for Joel Cordarrel. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Kraig Fred replaced Concetto Trasatti. Traian Blăniță kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kraig Fred in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kraig Fred blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. 74 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Fred came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornelio Ruisko went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. A hard shot 78 in the game by Alberto Tafalla from a close distance when the talented Marcos Ranolfo managed to make a qualified save. Estudiantes de América's players were relieved. 80 minutes into the match, Kraig Fred had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kraig Fred was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Marcos Ranolfo however easily saved by the left post. After 84 minutes Estudiantes de América's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Joel Gaona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Marcos Ranolfo made a huge save. After 91 minutes of play, Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Iraunkor in the 95th minute of play. Estudiantes de América's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
