Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magno Leme was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 7th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Real Santista FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vágner Peixoto in the 9 minute of the game. In the 12th match minute, Real Santista FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Magno Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Magno Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 19 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Magno Leme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emanuel Ocampo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Real Santista FC's Vito Aguiar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 28th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 29th minute. When Real Santista FC's Kurt Hamrin in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. If Luís Gustavo Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Santista FC's goalkeeper Magno Leme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magno Leme saved Real Santista FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magno Leme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt Hamrin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Kurt Hamrin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Edmundo Espiga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Magno Leme. The goal made the score 1-2. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Hamrin's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 66 played minutes Real Santista FC got a freekick which was hit by Gearoid McFrancise. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gearoid McFrancise's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gearoid McFrancise helped the player get up and apologised. If Esiquio Villaspasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Hamrin in the 77th minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Hamrin in the 78th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vágner Peixoto in the 82 minute of the game. Kurt Hamrin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Magno Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. After 93 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Real Santista FC's Magno Leme tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Real Santista FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
