Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 8th minute, Pong Kula reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacobo Nores. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 10th minute, Jose Sanz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pong Kula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Pong Kula put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pong Kula in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Bieito Cubas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Roch Januszewski made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pong Kula. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bieito Cubas in the 34th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Bieito Cubas put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Letal's Bieito Cubas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacobo Nores. That made the score 5-0 after 38 minutes of play. Pong Kula received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacobo Nores came out and tried to block the shot, but Pong Kula slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 42nd minute. Roch Januszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atlético Letal's Tomás Goren was substituted for Pong Kula. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Goren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Tomás Goren notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Covarrubias got free with Murilo Paredes in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Murilo Paredes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 68th minute. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Goren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Tomás Goren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute, Tomás Goren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Letal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bieito Cubas in the 91st minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Alfredinho Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Letal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. After 94 minutes, Bieito Cubas made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tomás Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
