Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 7th minute of the match, Ceferino Reyes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquin Gayoso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceferino Reyes got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. extreme fc's Bienvenido Zapata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Eriberto Bentisca notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 19 minutes of play, extreme fc's Tony Jonsson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bienvenido Zapata. extreme fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Ceferino Reyes put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Ceferino Reyes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ceferino Reyes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-1 to the left of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso 36 minutes into the match. Bienvenido Zapata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bienvenido Zapata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

Francisco Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Alberto Gisbert hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Franco in the 56th minute of play forced extreme fc's goalkeeper Bienvenido Zapata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceferino Reyes's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. extreme fc's Bienvenido Zapata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 59th minute of play. Bienvenido Zapata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Carmelo Hiriart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Lledias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Bruno Beldad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Maximiliano Escribano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bienvenido Zapata. The goal made the score 5-2. In the 90th minute Alberto Gisbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bienvenido Zapata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eriberto Bentisca went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The extreme fc fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
