When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Daniel Zorita sped through DIPLOMATA FC PAB's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chico Donato. After 62 minutes of play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niculae Martinescu in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chico Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after DIPLOMATA FC PAB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato did a great save. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save DIPLOMATA FC PAB from getting a goal against them. In the 89thth minute of the game Olivier Gilg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
