Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) SWARS's Rutger Forsberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Rutger Forsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 8th minute, Axel Tasis made a precise shot to the right of Evert Persson. SWARS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 13 minutes into the game, Rutger Forsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17thth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SWARS's Evert Persson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Svetlozar Butilov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfons Emander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 24th minute, SWARS's Rutger Forsberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rutger Forsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Bror Arenius managed to get in a good position for a shot. SWARS's supporters rose to their feet, but Bror Arenius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rudolf Johnsson went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After 38 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Bror Arenius scored 5-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Persson having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. Bror Arenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Noboa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evert Persson having to make a save. Bror Arenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Rutger Forsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Arenius in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Emander in the 81st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Beloslav Vesov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. After 95 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. SWARS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
