The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Basmane Texas's Serkan Kocaman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Filomeno Olivos in the 5 minute of the game. Lemi Uğurlubey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gürsel Aksel in the 5th minute. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erhan Ascı in the 7th minute of the match. Franco Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erhan Ascı in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhan Ascı in the 15th minute of play forced Basmane Texas's goalkeeper Franco Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Gothic Souls's goal looked a bit too open when Gürsel Aksel came free, but Lemi Uğurlubey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gothic Souls booed when Basmane Texas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Allikmäe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lemi Uğurlubey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lemi Uğurlubey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürsel Aksel in the 26th minute of play. Erhan Ascı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Franco Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erhan Ascı, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute of the game Erdinç Sarıalp made a throw-in which Erhan Ascı played forward. After 39 played minutes Basmane Texas got a freekick which was hit by Ulvi Gencal. Erdinç Sarıalp made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Basmane Texas's Kaptan Kıvılcım. Gothic Souls's Lemi Uğurlubey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Gothic Souls from getting a goal against them. After the first half Gothic Souls were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erhan Ascı made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Erhan Ascı took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Franco Armani to make any attempt to save it. 59 minutes into the match, Basmane Texas's Serkan Kocaman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lemi Uğurlubey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gothic Souls's Aytek İmar got a free kick in the 65th minute. Gothic Souls's Hilmi Tanpınar was substituted for Gong Yong. Gothic Souls's Gazanfer Devan was substituted for Erdinç Sarıalp. Aytek İmar hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Lemi Uğurlubey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gürsel Aksel went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Basmane Texas's Ignatios Ksiromeritis was substituted for Gürsel Aksel. When Serkan Kocaman came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Basmane Texas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serkan Kocaman couldn't finish the play. When Gothic Souls's Erhan Ascı in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. One of Gothic Souls:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Basmane Texas:s goal. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Basmane Texas. Borys Budarz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lemi Uğurlubey. 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
