Lemi Uğurlubey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürsel Aksel in the 5th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Gürsel Aksel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lemi Uğurlubey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. D.J. 赵云 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Armani having to interfere. After 23 minutes of play, Gothic Souls's Erhan Ascı made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Armani was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the match, Gothic Souls's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Budarz came free, but Lemi Uğurlubey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Basmane Texas got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Marinescu. In the 32nd minute Erhan Ascı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Borys Budarz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lemi Uğurlubey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serkan Kocaman scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lemi Uğurlubey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Gürsel Aksel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lemi Uğurlubey. Gothic Souls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gürsel Aksel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Basmane Texas's Franco Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by D.J. 赵云 in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erhan Ascı was the one to do the kick off. Lemi Uğurlubey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gothic Souls made a substitution. Aytek İmar replaced Lovis Schobel. Basmane Texas's Franco Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erhan Ascı in the 81st minute of play. Erhan Ascı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Franco Armani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel got a free kick in the 89th minute. The Basmane Texas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Basmane Texas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
