The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Steve De Wilde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uğur Akdurmuş in the 6th minute of the match. Yağızalp Sayyad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pieter Coekelberghs, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Yağızalp Sayyad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niels Vandamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Pan Jian Yong notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of The Conqueror's Yağızalp Sayyad. Yağızalp Sayyad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Conqueror's Yağızalp Sayyad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Jian Yong in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, Lions United's Steve De Wilde got control of the ball when Uğur Akdurmuş tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uğur Akdurmuş got free with Steve De Wilde in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Uğur Akdurmuş's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Steve De Wilde firmly grabbed it by the left post. Uğur Akdurmuş made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 28thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Steve De Wilde would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Yağızalp Sayyad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter Coekelberghs in the 31st minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Uğur Akdurmuş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lions United's Steve De Wilde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pan Jian Yong in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yağızalp Sayyad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lions United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gao Cheng Yun in the 40th minute. After taking down the ball on Lions United's corner Gao Cheng Yun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yağızalp Sayyad quite easily take care of the ball. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Conqueror's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gao Cheng Yun was slow to take the kick. During this time Lions United's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of The Conqueror booed when Lions United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yetkin Müjdat didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The Conqueror made a substitution. Baykan Bicanoğlu replaced Celal Erçetin. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Uğur Akdurmuş to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pan Jian Yong got free with Yağızalp Sayyad in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evaristo Ponte hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, The Conqueror's Uğur Akdurmuş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Steve De Wilde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Yağızalp Sayyad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pan Jian Yong in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Uğur Akdurmuş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steve De Wilde was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a rather tough play, Lions United's Gao Cheng Yun got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The Conqueror's Indrek Kabonen was substituted for Uğur Akdurmuş. In the 89th minute, Pieter Coekelberghs made a precise shot to the right of Yağızalp Sayyad. The Conqueror's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 91st minute of the match, Pieter Coekelberghs got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yağızalp Sayyad was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 94 played minutes The Conqueror got a freekick which was hit by Indrek Kabonen. Pan Jian Yong received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yağızalp Sayyad came out and tried to block the shot, but Pan Jian Yong slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lions United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
