Basmane Texas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baltazar Delioğlu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Baltazar Delioğlu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Basmane Texas's Franco Armani did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amado Arotza got free with Franco Armani in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franco Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tevfik Hunalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
