Kai Havertz started the match with the kick off. The throw-in from Reha Uma in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bozkurt's Emmet McAaron. In the 9th minute, Kai Havertz made a precise shot to the right of Anton Beck. Adana FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai Havertz in the 12th minute of play forced Adana FC's goalkeeper Anton Beck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Adana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kai Havertz came free, but Anton Beck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kai Havertz might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Beck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kai Havertz ran back to his position shaking his head. Anton Beck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kai Havertz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Kai Havertz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bozkurt's supporters rose to their feet, but Kai Havertz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Beck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute Kai Havertz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Beck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
