Bozkurt's Olgierd Literski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Yetkin Müjdat in the 4 minute of the game. Arda Göksel Yalman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pan Jian Yong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Kai Havertz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Steve De Wilde. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Bozkurt's goal looked a bit too open when Pieter Coekelberghs came free, but Arda Göksel Yalman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bozkurt's Arda Göksel Yalman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter Coekelberghs in the 13th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Kai Havertz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kai Havertz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Steve De Wilde made a huge save. Arda Göksel Yalman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pan Jian Yong in the 27th minute of the match. Niels Vandamme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Göksel Yalman having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Yetkin Müjdat in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bozkurt's Ferdi Kadıoğlu. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kai Havertz to strike the kick off in the second half.
