The supporters of R.B Leipzig booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sainz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jorge Sainz hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel in the 66th minute of play. Camilo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla was responsible for 0-1 with a brilliant performance in the 78th minute when he, by himself, got past the opponents defense and with a quick shot sent the ball into the goal to the left of Marek Žilák.
