The audience thought a goal was coming when Lv Xiao Zhi got free with Décio Tróia in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, LaCity's goalkeeper Décio Tróia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lv Xiao Zhi. After a defensive mix-up in LaCity's zone, Lv Xiao Zhi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Décio Tróia came out of the goal and Lv Xiao Zhi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Edgar de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, Roncourt's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar de Lara came free, but Brian Fumey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, LaCity's Décio Tróia got control of the ball when Thierry Lhermite tried to sneak it across the goal line. LaCity's Décio Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.P. Kapar in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Edgar de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Fumey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Roncourt's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harry Kaptein was slow to take the kick. During this time LaCity's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Roncourt's goalie and right to Richard Silveira. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Roncourt's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Décio Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lv Xiao Zhi in the 25th minute of play. Harry Kaptein kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. LaCity's Décio Tróia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save LaCity from getting a goal against them. Lv Xiao Zhi struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Décio Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roncourt. Hílton Amaral hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Brian Fumey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roncourt's Brian Fumey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar de Lara in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Florent Blanc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roncourt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LaCity the free kick. Florent Blanc kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With his leg Décio Tróia managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Roncourt's J.P. Kapar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lv Xiao Zhi in the 42nd minute of play forced LaCity's goalkeeper Décio Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Décio Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lv Xiao Zhi in the 44th minute of the match.

Kapar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Décio Tróia. LaCity's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that J.P. Kapar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Décio Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from J.P. Kapar in the 85th minute of the match. Décio Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léon Cailleaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Léon Cailleaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Tróia having to interfere.
