Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Mario Fernandino made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Clive Politiek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bolivia's Ismael Tejedor managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Khairul Tan in the 8 minute of the game. Mario Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Daniel Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Albirex Niigata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khairul Tan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Daniel Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 24th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Albirex Niigata FC got a freekick which was hit by Afriz Hian. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mujahid Teo in the 37th minute of the match. Wei Xuan Chandran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albirex Niigata FC's Daniel Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 41st minute of play. Daniel Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 43rd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mujahid Teo made a kick off. After 60 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote. After 62 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Mario Fernandino. 63 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Famih Swee came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afriz Hian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Alfonso de la Cruz hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mujahid Teo in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Freixa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes into the game, Eduardo Fontirroig recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Chuan. Eduardo Fontirroig showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mujahid Teo went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Albirex Niigata FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
