After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wincent Dropinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute of the match Castanheiro SC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfredo Stefano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Robben Spoelberchs sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Wincent Dropinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Stefano. Robben Spoelberchs struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castanheiro SC. With an all-out effort, Castanheiro SC's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfredo Stefano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 36th minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Wincent Dropinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robben Spoelberchs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 59 minutes, Robben Spoelberchs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castanheiro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robben Spoelberchs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robben Spoelberchs in the 62nd minute of the match. Castanheiro SC were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Pedro Carneiro took the corner. After taking down the ball on Castanheiro SC's corner José Pedro Carneiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robben Spoelberchs in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, 陶渊伟 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 77 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Robben Spoelberchs came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 78th minute. Robben Spoelberchs took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 81stth minute of the game Jânio Sanches who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Jânio Sanches put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Wincent Dropinski made a huge save. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91stth minute of the game Robben Spoelberchs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Castanheiro SC were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
