FALCÕES VERDES were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Betinho Lenzi took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Dennis Maranzano. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. It was a well-played corner which Juvenal Urbano managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Betinho Lenzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Lenzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jiang Yu Lin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Betinho Lenzi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play forced FALCÕES VERDES's goalkeeper Jiang Yu Lin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FALCÕES VERDES's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Betinho Lenzi in the 39th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FALCÕES VERDES's Betinho Lenzi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 after 41 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Betinho Lenzi made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, FALCÕES VERDES's Betinho Lenzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Lenzi in the 58th minute of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Jiang Yu Lin made a huge save. Felix Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Jiang Yu Lin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betinho Lenzi in the 68th minute of the match. Betinho Lenzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Lenzi in the 74th minute of play. Daniel Zorita in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
