An unexpectedly hard shot by Wes Lieckens in the 4th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La masia the free kick. In the 5th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximino Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Stuckens in the 10th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kent Stuckens who took care of the corner kick. The corner led La masia's Kent Stuckens to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 16th match minute, La masia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerom Kint to maneuver through the defense. Wes Lieckens succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 26th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute of play forced La masia's goalkeeper Maximino Cesario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas scored 2-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Cesario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Kent Stuckens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wes Lieckens in the 55th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wes Lieckens in the 57th minute of the match. Maximino Cesario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maximino Cesario, 2-2. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, La masia's Kent Stuckens tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when La masia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bill Hofnagels didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 minutes, Jan-Pieter Haelemans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La masia and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La masia getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jan-Pieter Haelemans hit a great ball. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Maximino Cesario to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 84 minutes, Jerom Kint mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La masia and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes La masia got a freekick which was hit by Jerom Kint. 91 minutes into the game, Wes Lieckens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bill Hofnagels hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th match minute, La masia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bill Hofnagels to maneuver through the defense. La masia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
