With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noel Seide prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Emilio Argina took a quick shot and it went in 9-0 without a chance for Noel Seide to make any attempt to save it. Hannover Reds's Willi Tilmann got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Lars Voss kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. Noel Seide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Voss, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 10-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Willi Tilmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noel Seide was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Noel Seide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 86 minutes into the match, Lars Voss notched a goal, 18-0, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide.
